School Cash Online Payment Issues Reported - Apr 7 2017

Over the past few weeks we have had a number of parents report their credit cards were being declined when making payments through School Cash Online.

RVS Finance continues to investigate this issue with Moneris and KEV Group (School Cash).   Moneris has indicated Visa and Mastercard are revising processing standards for manual key-entry transactions, to help minimize fraudulent activity.   Moneris is also recommending the customer contact their credit card company and remove their card block on the School Cash Online website if there is one.

To aid in our investigation it would be appreciated if parents would report, to the school,  the item(s) they are attempting to purchase, the device and browser being used at the time, the credit card type (ie Visa or Mastercard and affiliated bank:  RBC, CIBC etc.)  and any information regarding the decline they have received from their credit card company.  i.e. card comprised because of purchase at …..,  or vendor blocked, etc.).  Taking a screenshot and emailing it to would be extremely helpful.
